Hilton York

Our room was dusty & glasses & bottles were left in the corridor from previous occupants for most of our stay. We moved rooms as our first room was over the disco & very noisy. The concierge showed us an alternative room & then went to get a key for us. He returned over 30 minutes later with the key for the new room & there was no offer to help move our bags. During the night we tried to open the window but it was locked. The room also smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

GOOD LOCATION AND FRIENDLY STAFFS MADE US VERY WELCOMED.

The Hilton Hotel was ideally located. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly.

The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and for going out in the evening. Nowhere in the old town is more than 5 minutes away. From arriving to leaving the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. Everyone from the concierge, valet parking, reception and bar and restaurant staff were lovely and polite. The twin room we had was comfortable and clean with lovely "Sanctuary" toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, as were the cocktails in the bar before our evening in town on Saturday night. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our stay so enjoyable.
