Then there is the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations, which has lots of interesting exhibits. If you want to know more about the earliest inhabitants of Asia Minor, you'll enjoy the tour. Next, you should hit the mausoleum where Atatürk lies. It's free and very interesting. Completed in 1953, there are lots of Atatürk related items. For the museum lover, this one will definitely be enjoyed.
Easy travel in and out can be arranged with the Ankara Esenboga International Airport. Its only 20 miles outside of the city. New terminals are making international arrivals much easier. Of course, you can also fly into Istanbul as well.
